Supplement labels made for daily handling and storage
Supplement packaging has to carry a lot of information in a small space: brand name, variant, serving details, required statements, batch and expiry details, and often directions or warnings. At the same time, the label is handled repeatedly every time a customer opens a vitamin bottle, scoops from a protein tub, or reseals a wellness pouch. For this use, we usually recommend PP White waterproof material with permanent adhesive and a protective laminate.
This setup is suitable for supplement products commonly sold in the Philippines, including vitamin bottles, protein tubs, wellness pouches, and trial-size packs. It is designed for bathroom or kitchen storage, where labels may face humid air, splashes, oily hands, powder residue, and regular rubbing inside bags or cabinets.
Recommended material, adhesive, and finish
| Packaging type | Suggested setup | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Vitamin bottles | PP Matte White 2 or PP Glossy White 2 with permanent adhesive | Helps the label stay flat on curved HDPE bottles and protects small text from frequent handling. |
| Protein tubs | PP White with matte or glossy laminate | Works well for large front labels, wrap labels, and nutrition-style layouts that need readable text blocks. |
| Wellness pouches | PP Matte White 2 or PP Glossy White 2 with permanent adhesive | Supports flexible foil pouch surfaces better than paper-based indoor materials. |
| Trial-size packs | PP White with laminate, custom cut if needed | Keeps branding and required information readable even on small labels. |
PP Glossy White gives a clean, vibrant look and is a good fit if your brand uses bright colors, fruit flavors, athletic positioning, or high-contrast graphics. PP Matte White gives a softer, more premium look and reduces glare, which can help when the label has many small text sections. For most supplement brands, glossy laminate feels more energetic while matte laminate feels more clinical, natural, or minimalist.
For bottles and pouches, avoid Regular Satin and Hi-gloss if the product may be stored near sinks, kitchens, bathrooms, or humid areas. Those materials are economical for dry indoor flat surfaces, but they are not waterproof. Supplement labels often need stronger protection because customers touch the container many times before the product is finished.
How to choose the right label size
For a bottle or tub wrap label, measure the straight wall height first. This is the smooth vertical area where a label can sit without crossing the shoulder, taper, lid curve, bottom curve, or molded ridges. Your label height should fit inside that straight wall so the edges do not lift.
Next, measure the circumference around the container where the label will sit. For a full wrap, subtract a small gap so the left and right edges do not overlap or fight each other when applied. If the container is slightly tapered, test a paper mockup before printing because straight rectangular labels can wrinkle or climb on curved shapes.
For front-and-back labels, measure only the flat or most stable panel area. Leave room around the edges for fingers, seams, zip locks on pouches, crimped pouch areas, and bottle curves. For trial packs, start with the required information first, then size the branding around the space left over so the text stays readable.
What can go wrong with supplement labels
- Peeling on curves: Labels can lift when they are too tall for the straight wall or when they cross a curve. Use the correct height, allow a wrap gap, and choose PP White with permanent adhesive.
- Condensation or humidity: Bathroom and kitchen storage can weaken paper-type labels. Waterproof PP material and lamination help protect the print.
- Oil, powder, and hand contact: Repeated handling can scuff unprotected ink. Matte or glossy lamination adds a protective layer for everyday use.
- Small text becoming hard to read: Dense supplement panels need strong contrast, enough spacing, and 300 DPI artwork. Matte finish may reduce glare for long text blocks.
- Fading or worn edges: Labels stored in bags, shelves, or gym kits may rub against other items. Lamination helps reduce visible wear.
Artwork checklist for supplement labels
- Send artwork as PDF, PNG, or AI at 300 DPI.
- Use strong contrast for serving information, batch details, expiry details, and small text.
- Reserve space for the “No Approved Therapeutic Claims” statement required by FDA Philippines for food supplements.
- Plan space for serving information, batch details, and expiry details.
- Confirm current supplement label requirements with FDA Philippines before printing.
- Keep important text away from cut lines, pouch seams, bottle curves, and the label edge.
- For wrap labels, avoid placing barcodes or fine text exactly where the label edge meets the gap.
- Email artwork to hello@stickercentral.ph if requesting a quotation or sending files for checking.
We can print custom shapes and contour cuts, subject to the maximum print area of 13 x 19 inches per sheet. This is useful for front labels, flavor badges, tamper-style seals, trial-pack labels, and promotional add-on stickers for supplement bundles.
How ordering works
Option 1: Self Service ordering
If your size and specs are ready, you can order online without waiting for a quotation. Choose the sticker size and specs, upload your artwork or create it using the AI Design Generator while ordering, set the cut and quantity, then check out. This works well for repeat labels, simple bottle labels, and trial runs where the layout is already final.
Option 2: Request a quotation
If you need help choosing material, finish, shape, quantity, or label size, create an account and request a quotation. Send your artwork, approve the proof, then we print and ship after approval. Pricing depends on size, quantity, material, and finish, so use the request a quotation button for cost questions.
For design, you have three choices: make your own artwork with the AI Design Generator, ask our design team to prepare the layout in Canva or Photoshop with quotation on request, or send an existing file for free minor edits. Payment options include Maya Checkout, Cash on Delivery via J&T Express, bank transfer through BDO, RCBC, EastWest, or BPI, and GCash.
Production is 1-3 days after proof approval. Orders ready before the 1 PM cutoff can ship the same day. We ship nationwide from Tiaong, Quezon via J&T Express, with estimated delivery of 1-3 days for Luzon, 3-5 days for Visayas, and 4-7 days for Mindanao.
