Sticker Label Lamination Options: Glitter, Holographic & More

Materials vs lamination — what is the difference?

When ordering custom sticker labels at stickercentral.ph, you choose two things: a base material and an optional lamination finish. Understanding the difference helps you get the look and durability your brand needs.

Base materials (choose one)

  • PP White — versatile white stock for everyday product labels
  • Matte White — soft, non-reflective white surface
  • Transparent — seamless look on clear bottles and packaging
  • Satin — subtle sheen between matte and glossy; not waterproof — indoor dry use only

PP White, Matte White, and Transparent are waterproof and scratch-proof at no extra charge. View sticker label materials → · PP stickers vs Satin guide →

Standard lamination finishes

Glossy lamination

Shiny, reflective finish that makes colors pop. Best for retail shelf appeal, promotional stickers, and bold brand colors.

Matte lamination

Non-reflective, elegant finish. Best for premium products, skincare labels, and text-heavy designs where readability matters.

Specialty lamination finishes

  • Holographic — rainbow shimmer effect for eye-catching product labels and limited editions
  • Glitter — sparkle finish for cosmetics, gifts, and festive packaging
  • Broken glass — fractured-light pattern for premium and decorative applications
  • Snowflake — subtle textured pattern for seasonal or specialty products

How to choose

  1. Pick your base material first — PP White for most waterproof products, Transparent for clear packaging; Satin only for indoor dry applications
  2. Then add lamination for the final appearance and extra protection
  3. For food and cosmetic labels, glossy or matte lamination is most common
  4. For limited editions and gifts, consider holographic or glitter
